My favorite performance from Verka is when he is singing together with the girls from Via Gra. The name of the song is called 'ya ne ponyala' (russian wich means 'i didnt understand'), and it was part of the musical Zolushka (Cinderella)
I'm shore its available on youtube somewhere .. i used to have it on my youtube-page, but youtube cancelled my account recently :(

24SI - Ukrajinski su televizijski gledaoci i stručni žiri odlučili kako će njihov predstavnik na Eurosongu biti transvestit Verka Serdjučka. No, one koji tim izborom nisu bili baš oduševljeni, to je natjeralo na ulične proteste.
Čak su spalili lutku koja je predstavljala Verku. Kažu da on nije pristojan predstavnik njihove zemlje na jednom takmičenju međunarodnih dimnzija. Sam Verka pak kaže da je sretan što je pobijedio i da ga u Evropi niko ne doživljava u negativnom smislu.
