hm....once a Greek told me that my name was also Greek......but I don't know what it is. No one ever had told me that my name was Greek before

your name nikoleta is a greek feminine form of nicholas which comes from the greek name nikolaos, which is derived from the greek words "nike" = "victory" and "laos" = "people" ...so meanig of your name is victory of the people

Thanks for explaining! We have a masculine name Nikolay, so I thought it comes from it, but is the same I suppose. Now I remember that there was a Greek godess of viktory-Nike, am I right?
