humm.. i don't know.. one region uses first version, other - second... it's up to what people hear around mostly or what they teach. In my city people almost don't speak Ukrainian, so my knowledges it's only the things i've read in books or lernt at school

He replied, there´s no direct translation for that word. It could be regarded as an examination without any mark....it could be called "Zwischenprüfung".

something that has itching both me and my husband for long time is the expression ZNAYU YA. the song is called like that but when I see someone say it in dailylife its used like the opposite, YA ZNAYU (litteraly I know) and if someone dont know they say YA NE ZNAYU. So. then what is "Znayu Ya" that the songs refer to? a question: "Know I" ? and what is the "right" expression?

Another thing we had thought of is MAIDAN. How to pronouce it. Do you say Maaaaidan or Maidaaaaan or Máidán? if you understand what i mean?

Third about ukrainian language.

What is the ukrainian translation for ?This is Love?? Ce Ljubov, isnt it? Then this is the song that is used in the new song "In The Rhythm of Heart" for ESC. I really really really LOVE the song Ce ljubov....and can someone confirm that this is the song for this "heart of Europe" project....

it's true -)

literally it is ya znayu but the inversion is used to emphasize the phrase. it's not a question

the stress is on the second syllable.
