Wow! I see that you know not only some of the Ukrainian words:))) ,but history as well!

Thanx a lot!!! I had also the same idea: to visit a school for languages. We have here in Greece PUSHKIN INSTITUTE for Russian language. When I have time and enough money, I'll start ASAP :-) ...and then I can communicate with you in the forum ;-)
I think we WILL help you in learning Ukrainian!Don't worry about that, just ask what you want to know :)

Guido

Ruslanas steres statt tsetiri ?
What does it mean???

Dobryy den

I'm a new member of this Ruslana site
At first I would like to say I like her music very much ... but most of all, I fell in love with the Ukranian language
I realy would like to learn Ukranian ... Only 1 problem : I can't find a school in Belgium that teaches this language.
Polish and Russian courses are no problem to find
Could somebody please tell wich of those languages looks the most like Ukranian.

Taniusik,
Thank you for your answer and your offer to help me, but ... it's very difficult to learn a language when you can't hear it :(
So if you realy had to make choice: wich language would you recommend me : Polish or Russian ????

Nice to meet you too :-)
I´ve read, that you´re from Belgium. There are also some other people from Belgium here, like Guido or Dieter. There´s also a flemish speaking topic here.

Well.....it's very difficult to answer your question! If you go to hthe Western Ukraine they will understand Polish(most of them hate Russian),but if you go to the Eastern-Russian(won't understand Polish at all).... Sooo, choose which one you like the best :)))
Frankly, you'd better learn russian, however if you decide to learn Ukrainian and Russian at the same time it will be very difficult for you-you'll mix everything up! GOOD LUCK!
