Hi there !

I'm from Poland and actually I don't speak Ukrainian nor Russian so that is why I write here in English.
I'd like to say that Ruslana has a full support in Poland because "Widl dances" are gaining more and more fans here ! Polish eurovision site www.eurowizja.com leads a special poll about songs which participate in the ESC 2004 and Ruslana is taking 2nd place all the time ( 1st is Poland what is obviously just becasue it is a Polish site). So as you can see Ukraine has good chances to be given 12pts from Poland. Polish TV brodcaster TVP has already shown "Wild dances" two times, MTV Poland has also presented the clip. We're very happy that Ruslana represents Ukraine and wish her the best!

We keep fingers crossed for Ruslana

PS. Pay a bit of attention to Polish song;)

Greetings from Poland

Hey Vasyl !

Yeah, I've also heard that one of blue cafe gyus has ukrainian roots but i actually I can't confirm that. But you will have a chance to meet them in Istambul so just ask them:) Blue Cafe are very nice people who love meeting others ! And Poles and Ukrainians should be friends, shouldn't we??:):) So just drink vodka with Blue Cafe as a sign of friendship:)

In other news, personally I'd like to set up Ruslana fanclub here in Poland as she's gaining fans here:) I hope you will help me a bit !

Wish her all the best from me and Polish fans

HELLO THIS IS WARSAW CALLING...
SPEAKER: AND FINALLY 12 POINTS FROM POLAND TO...UKRAINE:)

Paul, thanx for wishing Ruslana the best, we're all keeping our fingers crossed for her.
Many members of Eurovision sites but Polish think that Ruslana will get to top 5, but not lower then 3d place.
I wish judges have the same opinion.
By the way, good idea about Eurovision 2005 ;-))

Yeah ! "Wild dances" is a very catchy, distinguishable song which will attracts viewers' attention throughout Europe:) Last year Poland gave 10 points to Ukraine for "Hasta la Vista", but I believe that you will get this year 2 more what gives you 12 :)

PS. I'd like to see Ruslana breaking the glassfloor once again !!:) that'd be perfect during semi-final:)

Go go go wild dances ! Fredom above...Ukraine above;)

Hi Vasyl, I'm very happy that you will strengthen Polish-Ukrainian friendschip ! Blue Cafe is really cool and they deserve drinking Zubrowka with them:):)

I'd really like to see ESC in Lwow cause I've been to this city once and I just fell in love with it !!!This city combines past with the present well and it also has Polish past so that is why it is a perfect place for ESC. I know that Ruslana has a record studio near Mickiewicz (polish writer) monument in the citycentre:)

Yes, I'd like to set up Polish Fan Club and I'm happy that you agree with this idea ! Firstly I have to know on what rules it should work and how could u help us to start the whole thing here in Poland.
I heard that Ruslana is coming to Poland in May or June so it'd be a perfect occassion to meet her and talk about fanclub:) And I'm pretty sure that she will be in the TOP 5 this year ! Success is guaranteed and then her popularity in Poland will increase so fanclub will be needed

PS. Send my best wishes to Ruslana from Polish fans and viewiers of www.eurowizja.com where she's our favourite all the time !

See u in Poland:>>

Hi!
I'm from the United Kingdom and I think the "Dyki tantsi" album (which I bought three weeks ago) is fantastic!
Ruslana's Eurovision song is unbelievable - I am praying that she wins on Saturday night! I will certainly be voting for her and I hope the United Kingdom gives her 12 points!
If anyone on Ruslana's team reads this please wish her all the best from the United Kingdom!

Hi!

My name is Charles Pylad and I live in Norrkoping, Sweden.
Even though I would love to have Eurovision in Stockholm, Sweden (was in the Globe in 2000) my biggest favourite is UKRAINE!!!
I will vote for Ukraine and I hope Sweden gives Ukraine 12 points.
It would be great if a country which has never won before also win this year, like Turkey last year, Latvia in 2002 and Estonia in 2001.

Because I'm an university student I couldn't afford going to Ukraine next year, but I'm sure it would be nice on television too ;-)

I also think hosting Eurovision would be important for Ukraine
in many ways... even political.
I have seen news about Ukraine disappointed about not being welcomed in the European Union. Even though I'm not so positive about European Union (I'm a member of the EU-sceptical Green Party) I think every European country with a population who wants membership would be welcomed. But I also saw news about politicians from the new EU-countries supporting the idea of Ukraine as future member of EU.

A friend of mine in the Green Party will go to Ukraine 20 May
for a political meeting, so hopefully he can see all your celebrations there 5 days after your victory :)

Please visit my website where you can see my support for Ukraine and Ruslana ;-)

GOOD LUCK 12 May and 15 May!!!

Cool!

By the way, I can tell you that a Swedish magazine (second largest newspaper) also says Ukraine might be a winner.
The Swedish magazines have been rather quiet for a while now but since the Swedish singer Lena Philipsson came to Istanbul today the press will also be there reporting from now on.

--------------
In a TV-programme about the preview-videos with people (artists and TV-folks) from all Nordic countries talking about the songs (and videos)
They could press three buttons, green (=great song), yellow (not great, not bad) and red button (=urghhh)

Iceland:
Now comes Ukraine... they made their debut last year with a song called 'Hasta la Vista'. They would take Europe by storm... got a song from Israel. But that was last year. This year they have a song which I find...wait and see... The singer is Ruslana... the video is fantastic... it will be exciting to see how it will sound live... now watch and listen...

(The video clip - unfortunately not the whole clip :-( )

Sweden:
Those who have invented this dance says it's from a Ukraine folk dance which is called rhytmoplastique (spelling?), and they think it will spread over the world... but I'm a bit uncertain... Janet Jackson, Rhytm&Nation... I don't know how to vote now.
It sounds like Sertab, then something like hard rock... I press the yellow button (=song in the middle, not great not bad) >:-(

Norway:
I have fell for Ruslana... the great thing is that they combine western pop with their own folk music. But it will be interesting to see if they can create the same as the fantastic video, in Istanbul because they can only have 5 more people on the scene and here they were 247. I think Ukraine is a model for how new nations can do... so they go to the final and will get a great placing too. (He pressed the green button).

Denmark:
Maybe to much high tones and too little melody. I know that many men will fall for women in leather but you're right that there couldn't be so many on the scene, so I don't know how it will be. But the combination of folklore and rock... I like that. Because the song gets something that is special for the country. I hope it will go to final. (he pressed the green button)

Finland:
I think this is very good. It's rare to combine folk music with modern rhytms like this so natural and good.
(he pressed the green button)

Iceland:
I think it will do good. And I hope she will have the same clothes... Xena - the princess warrior. ;-)
(pressed the green button)

The only thing I'm very sad about at the moment is that France, Poland and Russia doesn't broadcast the semi-show. Poland and Russia would probably voted 12 points for Ukraine... but they get chance to vote on Saturday ;-)

Great news!

Hope Ruslana and her wild dancers come to Sweden.
Unfortunately we don't have so many entertainment programmes on television now... it was much better in the 80's and the 90's.
Even with more than 10 Swedish TV-channels now it's fewer good programmes now than in the 80's with only two channels (???).

SVT (Swedish national television) will have a new entertainment show called 'Tivoli' now in the summer which could be interesting.

But I think the absolutely best show for Ruslana would be
'Allsång på skansen' which have had guests like Ricky Martin (public of 15.000 people !!!) and often 1/3 or half of the population watch the TV-show.

Absolutely, it what I mean!

Now, I am glad Swedish TV and media has published more reportages about Ruslana and Ukraine than in a whole 10 years.

Hope this success will continue.

Congratulations to Ruslana !

I'm very happy she won the Eurovision contest. For the second time Ukraine participates to this contest, it's very good. I voted for her from France ... just because I have ukrainian roots also ;-)

It was nice from Poland to give 12 points for Ukraine and when the speaker showed the heart ... remember ?

I discovered the Hutsuls and their rythm and dance so thank you Ruslana. I never heard about these people before !!!

It is a dream for me to visit the Carpathian Mountains : I planned to go to the Hora Hoverla in 2001 but finally I couldn't :-(

Thanks again and see you !
