Hi guys
Wow, how cool is having this ruslana girl win the contest and now this becomes a hub where ukrainians and people who like ruslana hang out. My god there are so many posts and posters on here.
Anyway, I was born in Australia, but my parents where Ukrainian. I can hardly speak it, but can understand a little. Don't know many Ukrainians actually, so this feels quite cool, just seein all you people here.
Anyway say hi if you are from OZ, or whereever!
What led me to find these forums was I was looking for a cassette tape of my dads that I lost that I wanted to replace.....
I lost his Mazeppa Cossacks tape, and can't find it anywhere on the internet, or find any info about that dancing squad... im guessing they broke up
Anyway if anyone can give me any info it would be great.
I believe the Mazeppa Cossack group was from the UK so I'm hoping that a Ukrainian bookshop in the UK might have a copy.... or even better someone has them converted to mp3s....imagine that
Ok well this will do for now, any help is much appreciated!

By the way UK is United Kingdom and UA is Ukraine... I believe that u ment UA when said about Mazepa// Anyway, I'm sorry, 'cause i can't say where u can find the tape :(((

methodice is right! Mazeppa Ukrainian Cossacks formed in UK.

Unfortunately now Mazeppa using only backing tape when they perform. All musicians and singers are left the group about 10 years ago (last reunion was 7 years ago at the ex-members wedding in Nottingham).
