Woha. Didn't you read my message for Julchen some time ago in the german thread? I thought you also downloaded it, when I checked my logfiles.
I think I have to rework this method... mailing people individually gets too complex.

No, but I do it sometimes when somebody explicitly asks for the video and they have the mail address switched on. (One should not make a statistical statement with less than even five items... I was mainly thinking aloud)

I prefer people fetching their presents themselves... so if anybody might stumble upon the machine "neptun" in the domain "chemie.uni-dortmund.de" there might be some videos in the "video" directory. You have to piece together the puzzle yourselves because I don't like to be a Google hit.

This is not the issue... if I were to hide the files one would still need a link to them.
btw google doesn't follow links,
Oh yes, it does... the mighty Googlebot spiders through the whole internet. ;) just look in your log file.
Just saw, someone from Canada got a 404 while I moved the directory aside to hide it from a possible spider. Sorry, all at the old place now. :)

I would have mailed this... could you still insert a space, please. Google does index the complete forum, although the web archive does not crawl it, as I just found out.
The Internet is a possible audience of 6 billion people and much of it is archived and can be searched...
